I’ve met a number of kids who say otherwise. A lot of people have a tendency to think that Straight Edge kids have god complexes.
“I am sober all the time, thus I am better than you.” That kind of stuff.
Straight Edge.
I hate this term so much, just because of the negative connotation it has. Why is it so wrong to refrain from partaking in drinking, drugs, or promiscuous sex? It’s my lifestyle choice, and you have yours.
But no, for some reason a Straight Edge can’t have fun. And oh my goodness, EVERY Straight Edge has this idea in their head that they’re a million times better than you....
